Recap: Carver Tigers vs. Thomasville Bulldogs
The Carver Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 98-37 victory over Thomasville at home. Carver has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.
Jazmin Thornton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubri Wilkins, who scored 15 points along with six steals.
The win was the third in a row for Carver, bringing their record for this year to 11-5. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.33 points. As for Thomasville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Carver will face off against Galloway at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. One thing working in Galloway's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups. As for Thomasville, they will head out on the road to take on Brooks County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brooks County is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
