Basketball Game Preview: Monache Marauders vs. Coalinga Horned Toads

The Monache Marauders will face off against the Coalinga Horned Toads at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Monache sitting on four straight wins and Coalinga on 17.

Monache is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 75-65 victory over Tehachapi. That's two games straight that the Marauders have won by exactly ten points.

Meanwhile, Coalinga earned a 59-49 win over Sierra on Saturday. The Horned Toads pushed the score to 50-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chieftains cut but never quite recovered from.

Coalinga's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Monache, their win bumped their record up to 18-11.
