Volleyball Recap: Escalon Comes Up Short on the Road Against Sierra + How To Watch

Escalon had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Sierra Timberwolves on Monday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Escalon actually scored more points across those four sets (94-92), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 15-25, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Escalon saw an underclassman step up: freshman Riley Titsworth had eight digs and two assists.

Sierra now has a winning record of 3-2.

Escalon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Merced on the 26th. Sierra has also already played their next contest (against Summerville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
