Basketball Recap: Glasgow Takes a Loss

Glasgow was the 75-70 winner over Metcalfe County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Glasgow Scotties took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Metcalfe County Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Scotties can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Hornets are ranked 29th).

Glasgow has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Metcalfe County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Glasgow will venture away from home to challenge Clinton County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Metcalfe County, they will challenge Green County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
