Basketball Recap: Carver Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Carver extended their road winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Tony Montgomery. The Carver Tigers breezed by the Harris County Tigers to the tune of 103-25 on Tuesday thanks in part to Montgomery, who almost dropped a triple-double on 34 points, ten assists, and nine steals. Montgomery is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's racked up at least ten every time he's taken the court this season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tobiaz Tolbert, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points and seven blocks. What's more, he also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023.

Carver's record now sits at 3-0. As for Harris County, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Carver will venture away from home to challenge Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carver has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 265 points over their last three matchups. As for Harris County, they will welcome Hardaway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
