Volleyball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Commerce fell 2-0 to Dawson County. Commerce hasn't had much luck with Dawson County recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Commerce was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Dawson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Commerce is taking a road trip to face off against Athens Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dawson County, they will welcome Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
