Soccer Game Preview: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial vs. McAllen

The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines will take on the McAllen Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against McAllen Memorial on Friday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, McAllen entered their tilt with Vela on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Sabercats. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.

McAllen is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those eight contests. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial came out on top in a nail-biter against McAllen when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial repeat their success, or does McAllen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
