Softball Preview: Ingomar Falcons vs. North Pontotoc Vikings
Ingomar is 0-6 against North Pontotoc since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ingomar Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the North Pontotoc Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Thursday, Ingomar got themselves on the board against Water Valley, but Water Valley never followed suit. They blew past the Blue Devils 14-0. The victory was just what Ingomar needed coming off of an 11-1 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, North Pontotoc waltzed into their match last Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over the Indians.
Ingomar's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for North Pontotoc, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
