Soccer Game Preview: Central Carolina Academy vs. Chatham Charter

The Central Carolina Academy Eagles will take on the Chatham Charter Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Central Carolina Academy headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but River Mill let them put that streak behind them. The Eagles came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 4-2 on Monday. Colton Howell had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Central Carolina Academy.

Chatham Charter hadn't beaten Ascend Leadership on the road since September 6, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Aviators.

Central Carolina Academy's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5-1 and their overall record up to 2-8-1. As for Chatham Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9-1.
