Basketball Recap: St. Paul's Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

St. Paul won the last time they faced Chapelgate Christian Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The St. Paul's Crusaders walked away with a 46-34 victory over the Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Defeat or not, Chapelgate Christian Academy got some senior leadership from Bryson Milledge and Mason Plater. Milledge posted ten points and three steals, while Plater scored eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals Plater has posted since back in December of 2024.

St. Paul's is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against St. John's Catholic Prep at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in St. John's Catholic Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
