Baseball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Storm vs. Lakeland Christian Vikings
After flying high against Discovery last Tuesday, Victory Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Storm lost 13-3 to the Lakeland Christian Vikings on Friday. The Storm have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
Victory Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cru Slocum, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Slocum's first of the season. Collin Strickland was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
