Preview: Albany vs. Braymer/Breckenridge

Braymer/Breckenridge had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on Albany at 7:00 PM. Braymer/Breckenridge are limping into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Braymer/Breckenridge came up short against Norborne/Hardin-Central, falling 32-44. Braymer/Breckenridge's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Keaton O'Dell, who rushed for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Albany have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They made easy work of St. Joseph Christian and carried off a 68-38 victory. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Albany's flat performance the game before.

Albany's win lifted them to 2-3 while Braymer/Breckenridge's defeat dropped them down to 0-5. In their win, Albany relied heavily on senior Harrison Kerchner, who threw 3 TDs and punched in 2 rushing TDs. Braymer/Breckenridge will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
