Football Game Preview: Perrydale vs. Waldport

Perrydale will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Waldport at 7:00 PM. Perrydale strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 30 points per game.

After having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Elgin, Perrydale were happy to find some success last Friday. Perrydale took the game and then some with a 70-26 victory over Mohawk last Friday. The rankings were on Perrydale's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Waldport, and their matchup last Thursday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were completely outmatched, falling 28-68 to Falls City/Kings Valley Charter.

Perrydale's win lifted them to 2-5 while Waldport's defeat dropped them down to 1-6. We'll find out if Perrydale can add another positive mark to their record or if Waldport can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Perrydale's step.
