Jayce Ruiz gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
