Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grapevine). They put the hurt on the Denton Broncos with a sharp 5-1 win on Tuesday. Considering the Mustangs' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Denton from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Grapevine's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Denton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-2.

Grapevine and Denton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings.
