Recap: Brook Hill Guard vs. Covenant Knights
The Brook Hill Guard won the last time they faced the Covenant Knights, and things went their way on Thursday too. Brook Hill secured a 40-36 W over Covenant.
Covenant's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Hook, who scored 12 points. Brady Shahan was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Brook Hill is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Covenant, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.
Brook Hill will head out on the road to challenge Shelton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Covenant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against All Saints Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. All Saints Episcopal is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
