Baseball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

Grant's last matchup with Arleta could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Lancers lost 10-3 to the Mustangs. The Lancers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Jacob Arellano led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Juan Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Arleta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-14.

Grant has already played their next contest, a 14-4 defeat against Van Nuys on the 4th. As for Arleta, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-2 loss against Chavez on the 7th.
