Volleyball Recap: West Jefferson Comes Up Short

West Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Landry. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Landry this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

West Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Landry, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Jefferson will take on South Plaquemines at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Landry, they will challenge St. Mary's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
