Basketball Recap: Paraclete Takes a Loss

If Paraclete was feeling good fresh off their 68-46 takedown of Taft last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paraclete Spirits lost 66-40 to the North Stars on Friday. The contest marked the Spirits' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

With the loss, Paraclete broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for North, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Paraclete will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Burroughs at 6:30 p.m. As for North, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pioneer Valley at 1:45 p.m. on December 23rd. North knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Pioneer Valley likes a good challenge.
