After losing to Sacred Heart the last time they met, Lumberton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lumberton Panthers skirted past the Sacred Heart Crusaders 53-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Despite the loss, Sacred Heart still got an impressive performance from Luke Davey, who went 8 for 10 en route to 18 points and eight rebounds. Those 18 points gave Davey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Raider Williams, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.

The win got Lumberton back to even at 6-6. As for Sacred Heart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Lumberton has already played their next game (against Resurrection Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sacred Heart will face off against East Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sacred Heart is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.
