Baseball Recap: Tri County Area Comes Up Short

Tri County Area was the 3-2 winner over Grant when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Wednesday. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Tri County Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Grant, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri County Area will face off against West Michigan Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grant, they will take on Belding at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
