Bracken County is a perfect 10-0 against Holmes since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Polar Bears will challenge the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Bracken County and three for Holmes.

Bracken County managed to slip by Walton-Verona the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Polar Bears came up short against the Bearcats on Saturday, falling 15-0.

Bracken County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Bachman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Boone County hit Holmes with a six-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 11-1 to the Rebels.

Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Bracken County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.

Everything went Bracken County's way against Holmes in their previous matchup back in April, as Bracken County made off with a 20-9 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Polar Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
