Volleyball Recap: St. Pius X Extends Winning Streak to Four

St. Pius X entered their tilt with St. Michael on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Horsemen 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

St. Pius X walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-18.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for St. Michael's, they moved to 13-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

St. Pius X and St. Michael's will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Sartans are set to square off against their familiar foe Belen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Michael's will take on rival Santa Fe Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
