ROWVA/Williamsfield's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Biggsville West Central Heat get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. Considering the Cougars have won eight matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Connor Buck made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, earning two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nick Little, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. ROWVA/Williamsfield is undefeated when Little posts two or more runs, but 6-10 otherwise. Caleb Oedewaldt also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

ROWVA/Williamsfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Biggsville West Central only posted a batting average of .133.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's record is now 13-10. As for Biggsville West Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. ROWVA/Williamsfield will head out to take on Bureau Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Biggsville West Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Princeville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
