Softball Recap: Boston Latin Comes Up Short

Boston Latin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Westford Academy Ghosts, falling 12-0. The Wolfies were not able to make up for their loss to the Ghosts from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Boston Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Westford Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Boston Latin will welcome Wayland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westford Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Bedford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Ghosts' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
