Soccer Recap: Northeast Guilford Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Northeast Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Northern Guilford Nighthawks. While losing is never fun, Northeast Guilford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 538th, while Northern Guilford are ranked 130th).

Northeast Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Northern Guilford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5-2 record this season.
