Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Plainfield Quakers

Tri-West Hendricks' rough 59-34 loss to Plainfield might stick with them for a while. It was the first time this season that Tri-West Hendricks let down their fans at home.
Tri-West Hendricks' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reagan Shaw, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Lauren Bear, who scored 10 points.
Plainfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hannah Menser led the charge by scoring 24 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellison Stewart, who scored 10 points along with 7 steals.
Tri-West Hendricks bumped their record down to 5-2 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Plainfield, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Tri-West Hendricks will head out on the road to face off against Brownsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brownsburg is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Plainfield, they will be playing at home against Avon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Avon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
