Soccer Recap: Triangle Math & Science Comes Up Short

If Triangle Math & Science was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of East Wake Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Franklin Academy Patriots by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. Triangle Math & Science haven't had much luck with Franklin Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Triangle Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Franklin Academy, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Coincidentally, Triangle Math & Science and Franklin Academy will both be playing NCSSM: Durham the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Unicorns at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
