Volleyball Game Preview: Beaumont Cougars vs. Cajon Cowboys

Beaumont is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will look to defend their home court against the Cajon Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Beaumont comes in on six and Cajon on seven.

Beaumont saw some tournament action on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Great Oak 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Beaumont who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 15-25, 15-10.

Cajon not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Miller.

Cajon got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10, 31-29.

Cajon's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Beaumont, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Beaumont came up short against Cajon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Beaumont avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
