Baseball Game Preview: Palmdale Falcons vs. Quartz Hill Royals

Palmdale hasn't had much luck against Quartz Hill recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Palmdale Falcons will be playing at home against the Quartz Hill Royals at 3:15 p.m.

Palmdale is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to Quartz Hill.

For Quartz Hill's part, nobody will forget Christopher Lozano's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Palmdale's batters): he turned in a perfect game. The dominant performance also gave Lozano a new career-low in hits (zero).

On the hitting side, Parker White was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Jason Uribe was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

The win (which was Quartz Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Palmdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
