Basketball Recap: Boonton Comes Up Short

Boonton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-32 loss at the hands of the Morristown-Beard Crimson. While losing is never fun, the Bombers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Crimson are ranked 67th).

Boonton's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Morristown-Beard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Boonton has already played their next matchup (against Morris County Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Morristown-Beard has already played their next game, a 69-48 win against Whippany Park on the 22nd.
