Softball Recap: Mosinee Picks Up 15th Straight Win on the Road

Mosinee won the last time they faced Shawano Community and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians walked away with a 9-5 win over the Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Mosinee pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Shawano Community, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Mosinee and Shawano Community will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians will challenge rival Medford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shawano Community is set to square off against their familiar foe West De Pere at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
