Softball Recap: Wilson Central Comes Up Short

Wilson Central came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Stewarts Creek Red Hawks. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Red Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Wilson Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Stewarts Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Wilson Central will face off against Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Stewarts Creek, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
