Christian Brothers is 8-1 against Chaminade since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cadets are taking a road trip to challenge the Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Christian Brothers didn't have quite enough to beat St. Louis University and fell 3-2.

Christian Brothers wouldn't go down easily and took St. Louis University into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 21-25, 16-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Chaminade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Vianney, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Vianney scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-22.

Christian Brothers' defeat dropped their record down to 7-14-1. As for Chaminade, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything went Christian Brothers' way against Chaminade in their previous matchup back in April, as Christian Brothers made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cadets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
