Recap: Johnson Crusaders vs. Dayton Bulldogs
The Johnson Crusaders entered their tilt with the Dayton Bulldogs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Johnson put the hurt on Dayton with a sharp 56-33 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Johnson has posted yet this season.
Dayton's loss came despite strong showings from Luke Sherman and Aden Pecana. Sherman scored 11 points along with two steals, while Pecana scored 14 points along with four steals.
Johnson pushed their record up to 8-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Dayton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
Coincidentally, Johnson and Dayton will both be playing Roselle Park the next time they take the court. Dayton will head out to face Roselle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Johnson will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
