East Pennsboro put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers a 16-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-0 on April 8th.

Eric Foster Jr. was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anson Towsey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

East Pennsboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Steelton-Highspire only posted an OBP of .222.

East Pennsboro's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Steelton-Highspire, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, East Pennsboro will take on Milton Hershey at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Steelton-Highspire, they will challenge Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
