Softball Recap: Olympia Titans vs. Colonial Grenadiers
Olympia put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They put the hurt on the Colonial Grenadiers with a sharp 12-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Olympia.
Olympia got a massive performance out of Olivia Church, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, a stolen base, and a run. Church is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Julia Benamati was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Olympia now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Colonial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympia will take on East River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Colonial, they will head out on the road to challenge Timber Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
