There was early excitement for Montgomery Catholic after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats who were credited with the victory. The Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Montgomery Catholic Knights' four. Montgomery Catholic's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Stott Blancas, who's now up to 11 this season.
