Hillsboro and Pratt are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Hillsboro Trojans will host the Pratt Greenbacks on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hillsboro comes in on eight and Pratt on three.

Last Friday, Hillsboro didn't have too much trouble with Nickerson as they won 47-33. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Panthers are ranked 278th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pratt was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Smoky Valley 66-25. The Greenbacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Hillsboro pushed their record up to 13-6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Pratt, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Hillsboro came up short against Pratt in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 51-47. Can Hillsboro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
