Baseball Recap: Alleghany Comes Up Short

Alleghany lost against Floyd County on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars fell 4-1 to the Buffaloes.

Alleghany's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Floyd County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Floyd County will head out to square off against Radford at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alleghany will be paying especially close attention to the Buffaloes' game: after the Buffaloes face off against Carroll County, they'll take on Alleghany again at 5:00 p.m.
