Madison Nelson Game Report: vs Murrah

Clinton came out on top against Murrah on Thursday thanks in part to Madison Nelson's efforts. Nelson struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Nelson and Clinton will face off against Starkville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
