Volleyball Recap: Petaluma's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Petaluma dropped to 20-6 on Tuesday, ending the team's six-match streak of wins at home. They fell 3-1 to the American Canyon Wolves. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Maddie Dilles paced Petaluma's offense, picking up 13 kills. Dilles got some help from Grace Gutierrez and her 15 assists. Emma Schwappach controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

As for American Canyon, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-11. The game was the first time they have beaten Petaluma on their court since September 19, 2023.

Maren Espiritu had an outrageously good game as she had 16 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Keilani Demas, who had 15 assists and ten digs.

Petaluma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Monte Vista on the 28th. As for American Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Justin-Siena on the 23rd.
