Oswego won the last time they faced West Elk and things went their way on Saturday too. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Patriots. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Oswego got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 19-25, 25-20.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up ten kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her 20 assists. Trimble was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Oswego now has a winning record of 6-5. As for West Elk, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Oswego didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Caney Valley on the 20th. As for West Elk, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Cherryvale on the 20th.
