Even though the Willow Canyon Wildcats scored an imposing 67 points on Thursday, the Apollo Hawks still came out on top. Apollo came out on top in a nail-biter against Willow Canyon and snuck past 70-67. The win made it back-to-back wins for Apollo.
Apollo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Moreno, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Elijah White, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Apollo's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Willow Canyon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-4.
