Football Recap: Corcoran Skates Past Fowler with Ease

Corcoran's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 40-12 win over the Fowler Falcons. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cougars' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Corcoran now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Fowler, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Corcoran will venture away from home to take on Central Square at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redhawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fowler, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Fulton at 6:00 p.m. The Falcons will be up against the Red Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
