Softball Recap: Mountain View Prep Falls Short of Belton-Honea Path in the Playoffs

Mountain View Prep and Belton-Honea Path squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mountain View Prep had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bears, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Stars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mountain View Prep dropped their record down to 11-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Belton-Honea Path, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

Mountain View Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will face off against Crescent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
