Greenfield came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Springfield Renaissance.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (107-106) Greenfield actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 26-24, 20-25, 15-10.

Greenfield's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Springfield Renaissance, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
