Basketball Recap: White Cloud Takes a Loss

White Cloud was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 50-30 to the Newaygo Lions. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 496th, while the Lions are ranked 104th).

White Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Newaygo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, White Cloud won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pentwater at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newaygo, they and Central Montcalm will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
