Basketball Recap: Johnsburg Takes a Loss

Johnsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 67-34 loss at the hands of the Crystal Lake South Gators. If the Skyhawks were looking for revenge after losing 78-48 to the Gators when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Johnsburg's record is now 0-3. As for Crystal Lake South, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Johnsburg is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Grayslake Central at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crystal Lake South, they will take on Barrington in a tournament on Friday. The Gators will need to watch out since the Fillies/Broncos have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
