Football Recap: Charles O. Dickerson Starts off Right with Win over Bainbridge-Guilford

Charles O. Dickerson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats 41-16 on Friday.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah Hampton, who rushed for 82 yards and one score, and also picked up 69 receiving yards and one TD. Hampton got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 89 yards. Another player making a difference was Conner Davy, who rushed for 80 yards on only eight carries.

Coming up, Charles O. Dickerson is taking a road trip to challenge Delaware Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, they will welcome Whitney Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
